Athlete of the week
Rincon Valley Middle School's Athletics Department would like to recognize our athletes for their hard work and dedication. Each week an athlete will be chosen and honored.
This week’s athletes of the week come from our Girls Volleyball Teams, Sydney and Jessica.
Sydney is such a rockstar on the volleyball court. She has strong serves, a great passing platform, and can see and read the ball really well. She has a key role on the 7th grade volleyball team with her physical skills, but also always shows up with a smile and encourages her teammates. Good job Sydney!
Jessica is the definition of a complete player. She is a force while hitting and steady on passing and serve receive. As a teammate, Jessica is patient and supportive while wanting badly to win. She makes those around her better and we are successful in part because of her leadership both on and off the court.
Congratulations Sydney and Jessica for being our athletes of the week!
Mascot: Falcons

Philosophy
Interscholastic athletics are an integral part of the educational program at RVMS and are designed to have a positive influence on students. In addition to athletic skill development, coaches are responsible for teaching our student-athletes proper attitudes toward citizenship, sportsmanship, and cooperation, as well as developing self-discipline and self-esteem. Our goal is to provide an athletic program that is an integral part of the educational program, which will promote physical well being and desirable attributes in leadership and sportsmanship for all the participants in the athletic program.
